Budget hotel in a great location.

Love the old, Italian feel, location is awesome. Bathroom Was super clean.

Fridge in room not working, air con Wasn’t working in our room, no amenities to make breakfast .. could be a super awesome hotel if cutlery and glasses were made available for guests! Beds are well used.

Wonderful

Very good lacation and cheaper than any other hotels. Better than the pictures at the reservation website. It was more than I expected. It is located on the very busy street, but quiet room.

I asked early check-in, but the host never answered my massages. We waited 30 minutes to contact to the host at the front of the hotel. It was locked, and we called several times, finally someone come out and we could kept our luggages.

Really friendly welcome from Andreas. He let us check in early so we could leave our luggage and explore Venice. Large comfortable, twin room

No tea / coffee facilities in room. Not really a criticism of the hotel - it’s what to expect when travelling in mainland Europe.

A decent stay, but some confusion with the details of the booking

The host was very friendly and helpful. Location was outstanding (you absolutely must visit the wine-filling shop next door!), rooms spacious and very atmospheric. Air-con working perfectly, towels nice and cosy, kettle and cups available. It was really a decent stay.

There was a slight confusion upon our arrival when we were informed that our 3 booked rooms with 7 beds in total were replaced by 2 rooms with also 7 beds. It was even better for us so we accepted the change, but it's not hard to imagine that one may be negatively surprised. Also, the additional bed for the children that we asked for was not available and we were told about it at the check-in (the host explained that they don't provide such service, even though it was an option when we made the reservation). To conclude, be careful about the specifics of your booking and contact the property in advance.

The location was very good, near shops and restaurants. In the same time it was quite and there was no noice. The room is spacious and comfortable. It's definitely good value for the money we paid!

Great location and nice rooms

The location is very convinient since it is a short walking distance from the main train station and water bus stops. My parents live the decoration. Everything was relaxed and uncomplicated.

It is a bit loud in the early night since there is a restaurant on the ground floor. After a while it is very quiet and good. Windows could get a check up and maintance.

Great location, pretty room and hotel

Location was great- close to the station etc. Also, the room was very pretty, big, and clean.

Coffee/Tea maker was not in the room as advertised on the website when booking. When, asked, the staff provided some cups and a kettle. As the hotel is based on the high street, it’s noisy. One of the windows did not shut properly but staff totally ignored this by replying to my call and message that they did not understand ‘the problem’. The signage of the hotel is not visible.

A more Authentic Venice experience

I was a little hesitant booking here reading some reviews, but it exceeded expectations; No hassle check in procedure, excellent location. Cannareggio area feels more authentic than the rest of this famous City where real Venicians live, work and play. Google maps should find you the location, otherwise ring the number on your booking confirmation and the lady speaks good English. Comfortable bed- an additional pillow would of been nice but personal preference of course.

Not the accommodations fault in anyway, but paper thin walls distracted our sleep- just hope your trip doesn't coincide with selfish guests who choose to play loud music at midnight.

Would love to book the place again and stay in such a positive place.

The property is well situated the owners were very nice and gentle. The property was extra clean and very well maintained. The bathroom was extra clean i would love to give more than 5 stars for how clean the place was.

The property on the whole i cant write anything bad its only that Italians who were staying there were really uneducated and were talking loudly at 22.30 when it was sleeping time for me. Rest as a property i cant explain how nice and well maintained .

great location. modern bathroom.

not everyone spoke English, sometimes hard to get assistance. very noisy in he mornings even though we were on the top floor. it seemed to be workers. not sure why there was a dining set up in our room when they don’t have any food.
